A typical day:

Wake up and eat Breakfast (9am)
During your stay you will have a flexible schedule, including when you wake up, which should be taken into account when reading this Itinerary.
Relaxing time (before lunch)
The time before lunch can be spent laying around in hammocks, enjoying the views, or going out yourself to see the beautiful beaches walking distance from Casa Carey
Lunch
Lunch is another time to get to meet the other volunteers spending time in Casa Carey and the people who run the whole thing
Mid day activity (1pm - 4pm)
The mid day activity is another chance to help with the conservation efforts, the activities vary from day to day but they range from going out in a boat to catch and tag Hawksbill turtle, to planting mangrove trees.
Dinner (6pm)
After the midday activity and after dinner there is more time to relax with fellow volunteers and go explore the beaches of the Padre Ramos reserve.
Turtle scouting and taking care of hatchery (8pm- midnight)
Late at night groups of volunteers will go out walking along the beach searching for laying sea turtles while another group stays at the hatchery taking data of the baby turtles and releasing them into the ocean.
